Case study review:- PMI Consult supports Hewlett Packard in Hungary PMI Consult Limited was recently requested to support Hewlett Packard, Budapest, Hungary in the preparation for a compatibility test and benchmark testing for Temenos Globus/jBase J4 on HP Superdome configured with 12 and 24 CPUs. hardware. PMI Consult were able to provide resources skilled in both Temenos Globus and its proprietary database jBase. The latter both initially on site, and subsequently as stand-by support throughout the testing period. Working as part of a multi-skilled team we were able to eliminated all Globus and jBase application level compatibility issues prior to testing by independent third-party testers. Against very tight time constraints, that required significant overtime commitment from the team members, we were able to build the static and transactional database for the benchmark test. This required the set up of 300,000 customers, 150,000 accounts, and transactions from Loans and Deposits, Teller, Funds Transfer, Securities, Money Market, Guarantees, Trade Finance and OFS modules. We then worked with the HP team of java programmers to simulate multi-user login and input. End of day, month and year end were all successfully run. PMI and HP's achievement: All benchmark targets were met.
